- StockMarketMentor: $MSTR reported earnings last Thursday, not this week. The report revealed a 3.6% decline in year-over-year revenue, which missed the consensus estimate by a few %. Earnings per share showed a loss of $16.49 versus the anticipated loss of $0.11 per share (not a typo). That loss is primarily due to a $5.91 billion unrealized loss on Bitcoin holdings, attributed to the adoption of fair value accounting. Saylor's Strategy now owns more than half a million bitcoin, with an average cost of 68,459 per bitcoin. That's a lot more bitcoin than Scott and I have. (But the good news for me is that my cost basis is a lot lower than Mike's. Sorry about the confusion. --Dan

I will hold some $MSTR through, but I won't bet the farm. At least for me, the pain of a loss is greater than the pleasure of a gain, all things being equal.
